About writing for us
My Mobility Guide is a supportive website aimed towards people who suffer from limited mobility. We provide useful information that we know is hard to find but which we know people find extremely helpful.
The format of the website is based on topical and insightful blog articles, and we are seeking to further our support to our audience as well as expand our reach.
We are always on the lookout for new writers who would like share their experience, opinions and generally provide a supportive outlook for others.
If you would like to contribute to our site then we would love to hear from you. We feel that a wider range of voices make for a wider range of informative and helpful views for our readers.

Our target audience
Any person who is affected by limited physical mobility, all ages, all genders, everyone.
Besides our website, we also reach out via Facebook and Twitter.
Topics
Previously covered topics include:

- Holiday destinations for disabled travellers
- Hoists and lifts
- Disability equipment in the home
We don’t necessarily require contributors to focus on the above topics so long as the content is relevant to the audience and not promotional.

We welcome any contributors who can offer a relevant, interesting, informative and helpful read to our audience.

Things to consider
Originality – Your submission must be yours and based on your own research
Evidence – Provide evidence in your submission to show the readers you know your subject well and provide citations where needed
Accuracy – Proofread and double check grammar and punctuation before submitting
Word count – 500-1,000 words
Hyperlinks – These should only be used if you are citing research, news or other outside information sources
Re-publishing – You are able to republish your submission elsewhere providing two weeks has passed since it went live on the My Mobility Guide website and you must supply a link back to the My Mobility Guide hosting page
Author information – Please supply your full name, email address, a clear headshot image, your social media and website links (if you have these)
